body language
Naomi Hyba

let's write poetry, expressions of harmony
without our bodies, yours and mine:
the smalls of our back's pressed into a c,
lips joining, hands holding,
legs and arms making figure eights.
you reach out to kiss me,
our necks like swans;
feet lying together to form a v,
as I trace letters, spell out
love on your tummy, my tongue
filling in the o.
