Yara Abou-Hamde: "I am a student from Ottawa who appreciates a good book and absolutely loves to write. I aspire to motivate those around me to become everything they can be."

Krystal Elkhoury is a grade 12 student living in Ottawa. She loves reading and writing historical fiction and fantasy.

Rabeea Fatima is in high school. She likes walking, biking, hanging out at Kensington Market and listening to Simon and Garfunkel. All her writing happens during or in-between the aforementioned activities. 

Jenny Ge is 14. Amongst friends, she is well known for her mountain-high pile of doodles, and her random outbursts of song, which usually results in the said song being stuck in everyone's head for the following week. Unfortunately, this means a shortened lifespan, because she is now basically on everyone's hitlist.

Chelsea Humphries is currently finishing her senior year of high school in Toronto, Ontario, and aspires to pursue her dream of author-dom in the near future. Thanks go to her family, friends, teachers, dog, and Elvis Presley for bringing her this far and continuing to inspire her.

Monique Leung: "I'm 13 and turning 14 pretty soon. I'm not really the 'girl' type of person that likes shopping and dressing up, and that kind of stuff. Other then art, I enjoy chilling with friends, some sports, music, going out in the wilderness, and just being who I am at that time."

Abdullah Malik is an aspiring writer and playwright from Mississauga. He has directed multiple plays and this is his second time being published in Wet Ink. He hopes to turn his hobby into a career sometime in the future.

Sarah Rotenberg: "I'm in my eighth grade at Magee Secondary. I enjoy reading, writing, and acting. To clarify for this poem I do not cut myself but I do get pain really well."

Skye Thompson: "I am 12 years old. My favourite season is fall because it is like winter and summer put together."
